Success Story #1 - I'm not going to mention any names but there is a lady out of Canada who started building a simple affiliate online business focusing on the dating niche. She built a simple blog-based website offering valuable information on dating sites. Plus reviews of those sites... reviews of products... and other good content. Her little online side business began generating enough money (over $400,000 a year) so she could quit her well-paying job in the airline industry.
Success Story #2 - Recently I heard about a guy who used to be a farm hand. He somehow found out about affiliate marketing and decided to try it out. In his spare time, he joined several networks and began promoting the hottest and most competitive offers. It took a little time and effort but he began making some decent money. And finally, after a bit of tweaking and learning the ropes he pulled in over $150,000 a year and continues doing so.
Success Story #3 - Here's a more modest success. My first affiliate website was a one-page, content-rich site that also reviewed three to five FOREX trading programs. Obviously the theme of that website was about trading the FOREX market. I remember spending about $300 a month to promote it using Google AdWords. (Note: I would not using pay per click to promote such websites now. But that was then.) And I took in $900 a month. It took me about two weeks to get the site up and running and I was making around $600 a month in net profits for quite awhile.
Look, these are just three small examples of what's possible. There are affiliates making seven-figures online. The point of this article is to give you some hope that no matter where you're at you can make money online as an affiliate.
