Prosperity is the state of being successful, especially financial success. Mentality is defined as a particular way of thinking and attitude possessed by either a person or group of people. To have prosperity mentality is to think like successful men either financially or otherwise.

The power of the mind is indescribable; the way a man thinks is the way he would grow up to become. You can not think like a slave and become a king. You can not think like a failure and become successful. What your mind thinks are the things you see, and what you can see you can get. In this world everything is possible. What you are enjoying today is a product of someone's thought.

Someone once sat and imagined object with four treys moving. The thought led to the invention of motor-car. The house you live in, all the things around you that helps in making life easy and comfortable, are all products of the human thought. Someone has thought on how to convert fibers to fine clothes, packaging of water into can, invention of electricity, refrigerator and other things that improve living condition of humans. They all desire to achieve their dreams. In other words, they have the right mentality - prosperity mentality.

Prosperity mentality is therefore having the right mind set that can propel wealth, to think positively in the pursuit of success and any other desire of the mind. The greatest percentages of failure are people that quit some miles to their destination. People who fail to persist in pursuit of their desires encounter failure. But this can be averted, because with prosperity mentality one is conscious of his destination. People with prosperity mentality are not quitters. They make decisions swiftly and change them, when necessary, slowly. They are not moved by life circumstances; barriers are not in their dictionary because they know where they are going. When the journey looks toughest, they see greatest opportunity. They can not be easily dissuaded from their plans and actions.

This mentality has being employed by many world record breakers. Thomas Edison has the mentality of creating a lamp that could be operated by electricity. He tried his experiments and failed more than tens thousand times, but he never quit. His prosperity mentality made his dream to come to materialization and physical reality. Edwin C. Barnes had the mentality of becoming a business associate with Thomas Edison, he worked his way and his dream came though. Many others, Lincoln, Mr. Darby, Henry Ford etc. even the present President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, all succeeded because they have prosperity mentality. They saw possibility in their dreams and aspirations. Today, the whole world can and is hearing about them. People with prosperity mentality never fail to over-come the hurdles of life, for their promotion and upliftment come from such hurdles.

It is pertinent to note here that risk is the language of successful men. Anyone with prosperity mentality must learn to take risk. Success does not fall on anyone; you risk something in life to be successful. To succeed in life you must take tangible risks. Risk in investment, risk in taking decisions, risk in persist-ency even when the market is down or when things are not working well for you. Fear to take risk, and poverty would come upon you like a flood.

People with prosperity mentality are risk-takers. Life itself is risk, the food you eat, places you go, clothes you wear, car and planes, even ship you enter, are all done in risk. So why not take tangible risk in investing for your future. All the secrets of wealth are embedded with risk. Forex trading, online businesses, investing in stock exchange, information product marketing, E-book publishing etc. are all tangible but profitable risks that are worth taking. Business is all about risk, but people with prosperity mentality always come out of the risk with testimonies.

Conclusively, prosperity mentality is what propels wealth. You can never become rich without having the mentality of a prosperous man or a rich man. Show me any successful man in life, show me any wealthy man and I would tell you the secrets of his wealth as well as his success. They are risk-takers. They take the risk due to their mentality and their wealth comes in like flood. People with tangible world's records are risk takers, and risk is the language of people with prosperity mentality. As you re-orientate your mentality today, wealth and indeed, prosperity is knocking at your door. Simply open and dine with who is who? in the world.
